Year 6 celebrate the end of SATs
Year 6 arrived for school in their pyjamas and enjoyed a well deserved non-timetable day. The children celebrated their end of SATs week with a water fight, BBQ and a climbing wall - which the TSF had generously hired with instructors from 1610 Hestercombe, The children let off steam and raced around the playing field with their water guns. They got very wet and by about 2 o'clock Mr Bottomley and Mr Bond both looked like drowned rats! A great time was had by all.
Sadly the weather did not hold out and although other pupils eagerly awaited their turn on the wall it had to be taken down due to lightning and heavy rain.
