Maths 

In order to understand our two times tables, we need to revisit and explore the doubling of numbers.

'Double' is two groups of a number or amount. 

Can you show doubling using objects at home like coins, counters or bricks? 

Can you describe your amounts using the sentence 'Double ________ is ___________'.

If you would like to challenge yourself, there are some great challenges below that involve using your reasoning and problem solving skills. You could answer one/two of these on paper or in your home learning exercise book
