Staff Vacancies

We are looking to appoint the following role with immediate effect:

TEACHING ASSISTANT PART TIME

Salary: Grade 15         Hourly rate: £10.78 to £10.98 (depending on experience)

Hours of work: 1.15pm – 3.15pm, Monday to Friday term time only

Incorporated with Lunchtime Supervisor role

Salary: Grade 16         Hourly rate: £10.59    Hours of work: 11.50am-1.15pm Monday to Friday term time only

The ideal candidate will calmly reinforce the excellent work of the teaching staff by supporting individuals both within and outside of the classroom environment either in a group or on a one-to-one basis. You will be a professional role model to the pupils, with the confidence to challenge and the creativity to motivate.

 

You will be working in an environment where the little things that you do every day could have life-changing results. Your ambition for the young people you support will help them take steps to fulfilling their potential.  Flexible, adaptable and enthusiastic, this role will support the curriculum in Key Stage 2. 

 

What experience or qualifications would I need?

Ideally you will have a Teaching Assistant qualification or experience in working in a similar role, but more importantly you will have:

  • Good English and Maths skills to GCSE level or equivalent;
  • A clear understanding of strategies to motivate all pupils;
  • A flexible approach to their work and ability to work as part of a class and team;
  • A passion for making a difference and is committed to our Christian values;
  • The ability to take initiative and support where required;
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children and young people;
  • To be confidential and discreet concerning pupils and their needs.
