Homework

In Beech Class we aim to read daily, which may include practising high frequency words, tricky words and phonics. Year 1 children also need to regularly practise their number bonds and their 2, 5 and 10 times tables.

Additional support may be offered by your class teacher for individual pupils. Please see our separate homework document below for further suggestions for Year 1.

Homework should take approximately 20 minutes per week. Please speak to your class teacher if you have any concerns.
