Maths Homework

Number, Ratio and Algebra Book - pg 2 and 3 - Ordering and Rounding numbers. Remember to think about place value when you are rounding and you can use the rhyme we used in class to help you:

Underline the number

Look next door

4 or less? Let it rest.

5 or more? Add one more

Numbers to the left stay the same

Numbers to the right - zero is your name

 

English Homework

Spellings - please practise on Spelling Shed.  There WILL be a test on these spelling words on Wednesday 9th November.

Each Wednesday there will be a test on the words that you have been learning.

 

Punctuation Book - pg 6 and 7 - Types of sentence.

Remember: Statements - tell facts.

Exclamations - show strong emotions

Commands - tell people to do things

Question - asks something
