This week we were visited by two of our wonderful Year 6 children, they read us the story of Goldilocks and The Three Bears.
This week we have labelled different parts of our body. We talked about some of the different organs inside us and the importance of having bones. Did you know we have 206 bones in our body!
As part of our Expressive Arts and Design we have been exploring different types of mark making.
In RE we talked about the church as a building and the signs and symbols of Christianity.
We have been singing lots of number songs and rhymes!
In PE we have been playing lots of games and working on our spatial awareness!
On Friday we went to our first whole school Celebration Assembly. The children sat beautifully. We were very proud of all of them.
We all took part in dough disco today to help strengthen our fine motor muscles. It was fun listening to the music and following the instructions. Dough disco involves moulding play dough in time to music and performing different actions such as rolling it into a ball, flattening it, putting each individual finger into the dough, rolling it into a sausage and squeezing it.
