Our topic question this term is...

'I wonder why...?'

In our science lessons we will be learning about animals and how we can sort them into different groups. Also, in our geography lessons we are going to learn about a variety of environments that animals live in around the world.

The Year 1 spellings can now be found on the EdShed website.

A paper copy of our weekly spellings will still be sent home for your children to use every Monday. The children have been given a login username and password which is stuck in the back of their reading log book.

All of the details about how to use this resource can be found in an emailed letter from the school office.

Everyone looked fantastic today for World Book Day! Well done to everyone who also made a 'book character potato', we showed them to the rest of the school during our assembly.

We had such a fantastic trip with Ash Class to Axe Valley Wildlife Park. We were very lucky to have lots of sunshine and we saw so many different animals! Thank you to all of the parents that helped with the trip.
