Friday 3rd April

At 9am each morning this week, Joe Wicks will be streaming a PE session to keep us all active and moving. It will be a great way to start your day and I am sure your family would love to join in too! If you were having a lie-in, then you will be able to find the session on Joe Wicks' youtube channel and join in at any point!

You can find them here:

Read page 118 to 132 and have a think about the questions below:

1. Why do you think the author chose those song lyrics to represent Summer’s character on p118? (2 marks)

2. Do you think Summer thinks Jack is a good friend? (2 marks)

3. It took a second for my question to even register (p127). Give the meaning of the word register in this sentence. (1 mark)

Friday would normally be our spelling test so either spend 10/15 minutes on Spelling Shed to test yourself or ask a grown up to test you. Below are your next set of spellings for after Easter.

A choice of two fun SPAG activity for you to finish our spring term with. Depending on what you have available to you and who you have to play the games with. Below is a set of Top Trumps that can be printed off or written out that can be played between you and an adult, older sibling or (if you feel like you can teach them) a younger sibling.

Or the other document attached below is a powerpoint that you can download and use to play a game of pointless. (Warning it is quite a big document and will need a laptop to play it on.)

As a conclusion to our ratio topic, where we have looked at ratio, proportions and scale factors, we have one final lesson to look at. It covers some problem solving with ratio. Follow the link below and watch Lesson 2 - Step 7 - Ratio and proportion problems and then have a go at the activity attached to it. Good luck.

Forest School

We would be due to have forest school today so as the seasons are changing, there are plenty of mini beasts outside. So below is a document you could use to see how may mini beasts you can find, either in your garden or while out on your daily exercise. Have fun.
