Another very exciting week in Ash Class. Thank you so much Mrs Trott and Mr Cahill for coming in and talking to us about your jobs.
Thank you Mr Zampano for coming in and talking to the children about your job as a vet. The children found it very interesting!
We had some visitors from Year 2 this afternoon who came to share their stories with us. We were very impressed.
The children took part in a first aid course today. We found out what we should do if a family member or friend is hurt. We learnt how to check a person is breathing and what number to ring. Does your child know their address if asked by a member of the emergency services?
We spent some time sharing stories with our year six children.
Seb’s mum spoke to us about her job looking after different animals at the vet’s. We were very interested to learn about how to look after our pets.
We enjoyed having an art lesson with Mrs Payne. The children enjoyed experimenting with clay. We can't wait to paint our coasters next week!
On Thursday, we were lucky enough to have Alfie’s mum in to speak to us about her job as a senior A&E nurse. The children loved making their own plaster casts!
What an exciting week in Ash Class! At the beginning of the week we moved up to our new classes and met our new class teachers. The children all came back very happy and excited.
We were so proud of Foundation Stage for taking part in their first school sports day on Thursday, they behaved beautifully and we were very impressed with their running!
On Saturday, it was our school fete where it was so lovely to see so many of you. It was a huge success, thank you so much for all your support.

Our new topic this half term is ‘Be the best you can be’. We have been thinking about what we might like to be when we are older. If any parents would like to come in and talk to the children about their job please speak to a member of the Foundation Stage team.
