Each week, Mr Bottomley will set a range of questions for his Guided Reading groups to answer. We are currently using 'Wonder', by RJ Palacio as our focus text. 

Please answer these questions in your reading journal and ensure you have these answers with you on your reading day each week.

This week we would like you to finish reading Wonder and then complete the book review below. We have given you a paper copy in class so hopefully you can fill that one out.

1. Find and copy the phrase on p258 that means ‘messing around’. (1 mark)

2. On pages 260 to 263, before the ‘incident’, how does the author build up tension to suggest something ominous might occur? (2 marks)

3. How has August’s opinion of Julian changed throughout the story? (3 marks)
