What a week of wild weather! Didn’t stop us exploring to learn!
In Expressive Arts and Design we made poppies and explored the colour red.
Understanding the World
In Maths we have been using the language ‘more than’ and ‘fewer than’. E.g Sam has fewer than Tom. Tom has more than Sam.
In Maths we used the iPads to practise our subitising skills. Do you know how many there are without counting?
Dough Disco! (Fine motor skills)
In Literacy we have learnt lots of new phonemes. We have been blending and segmenting words and working on our formation. This week our first phoneme book went home, to help practise our phoneme grapheme correspondence.
We listened attentively during Libby’s assembly. She told us the story of Gideon, she reminded us to believe in ourselves and trust in God.
