Welcome to the Rowan Class page.

We are a class of Year 4s, our teachers are Mrs Wilkins, Mrs Weston and Mr Bottomley.

Mrs Andrews, Mrs Cockings and Mrs Rice are our assistants. Mrs Mitchell teaches us PE.

Important information:

Please bring your reading book and reading record book to school each day.

PE is on Wednesdays, please come in PE kit.

Outdoor Education is on Tuesdays, please bring suitable footwear and waterproofs in a plastic bag.

We will be enjoying brass lessons with Mr Bowen, a music specialist, on Wednesdays too.

Homework:

Daily reading and record in your reading record to be in with a chance of winning a raffle prize!

Spelling folder- written practice of spellings x5 a week. Please return folders to school each Monday.

Spelling Shed- games to learn and practice that week's spellings.

Times Tables- practice using TTRockstars or other methods. There will be a national times table test for Year 4s in Summer 2023.

Logins for Spelling Shed and TTRockstars are stuck in the front of the reading record.

Children's MyMaths logins will continue to work for maths games and practice, but homework will not be set this year.

Each Wednesday we will take a Multiplication Olympics challenge to answers questions in a set time. When we have got all the questions right in the time on our own, we move up to the next level. Everyone starts at Bronze level and moves on in the order on this page.
