STEM day

 

We were lucky enough to have a STEM ambassador in for the whole day from Babcock. We were all interested to learn more about engineering and what it involves. He came in with some interesting activities for us to do to see if we can make it as engineers. 

 

Our task was to build a submarine that could change its depth, change its pitch and shoot a missile. Ambassador Bottomley was looking for inventive designs, successful products and some excellent presentations; and we delivered as a class.
