In assembly Foundation Stage received their very own Bible. What a lovely end to a fabulous term. Happy Easter everyone!
This afternoon we went to see our school art exhibition in the hall.
Several of our school governors came in to see us today, they walked around and chatted to the children about what they were learning. This is Mrs Hughes our chair of governors.
This week we have started reading a new story ‘Catch that Goat!’ Based in Nigeria. We have been learning about various animals in different parts of Africa. The children made their own binoculars and went on safari! We have been painting African musical instruments and watched some traditional dancing. Some of us even had a go at joining in!
We are so proud of Ash Class for taking part in their very first class assembly.
We retold the story of The Rainbow Fish. The children sang the song ‘Peter and James and John’.
Thank you so much Mr Smith for coming to visit Ash Class. We loved learning about lots of animals that live in the ocean!
