SUMMER

This term, we will be studying the Art of Anatomy, with a particular focus on the Renaissance artist Albrect Dürer.  Today, we looked at his 'Praying Hands' and the meticulously detailed topography and contours he has created. 

 

Below are our own efforts at creating detailed observations of hands.  We tried very hard to show topography and contours through careful shading.
