Maths

LQ: How well can I use number facts to subtract? 

 

Today we are subtracting using ten frames and number facts that we already know. 

For example; If 5-4=1, then 15-4=11

English

LQ: How well can I make inferences based on what is said and done? 

In this lesson, we will be text detectives, using evidence from the text to help us unpick ideas.

This will be taught during the 10.30am zoom. If you can't make it, please use the information below to do the lesson in your own time.

 

Look back at all of the alternative spellings that you have learnt this week

       /n/ = gn (gnome)  kn (knot)

           /r/ = wr (wrap)

           /m/ = mb (lamb)

 

Use any of the Phase 5 interactive games and activities on Phonics Play to practise blending such as 'Sentence Substitution' (phase 5b), 'Buried Treasure' (phase 5) or 'Dragon's Den' (phase 5). smiley
