Sports' Day 2019 !

African Drumming was really interesting and great fun!

We have been learning about our teeth and bones

Year one children have had a great time making drums in Forest School while the year two children made rhubarb muffins with rhubarb we had grown.

We have been learning about the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Following the artist Ai Wei Wei's creation of a flag to mark the 70th anniversary of its inception we have been creating our own flag.

We have learnt a lot about the Christian celebration of Pentecost. We went on a Pentecost Experience afternoon organised by All Saints' Church.

Today we harvested the two varieties of potato we have been growing, washed them and ate them. They were delicious!

The year 2's and year 1's had lots of fun learning a Maypole dance this morning.

Elm Class travelled back in time to Victorian Trull. The date is May 23rd 1899. We learnt about school life and enjoyed the toys and games of that era. Well done for the fantastic costumes everyone!

The sun shone for our multiskills festival at Castle school and we had lots of fun!

We have grown broadbeans and today we harvested them and then ate them!

We "planted" our 3D flowers today in the tubs at the front of the school.

We have been exploring levers today and seeing how they can help us lift a heavy load.

We have been on a walk looking for the human and physical features of our village.
