The Magic Faraway Tree

The characters in this story are Jo, Bessie, Fanny and their cousin Dick comes to stay.

Near their house is the enchanted wood, and in the enchanted wood is the magic faraway tree.  There are lots of characters who live in the tree, like Moon Face, Dame Wash-a-lot (who does lots of washing and throws the dirty water down the tree), and Saucepan man, who likes to sing silly songs.  The angry pixie doesn't like people looking through the windows of the Faraway Tree.  In Moon Face's room, there is a slippery step, which is a long slide from the top of the tree to the bottom.  At the top of the tree, there are lots of lands.  My favourite land is the land of presents.

I liked this book a lot and want to read the other books in the series.  I think other children in our class will love it too.
