Yew and Ash and Beech Reception worked together today to make some very special Christingles to celebrate Christmas. The children worked brilliantly together and had some wonderful conversations about Father Christmas and all the cheeky Elves on the Shelves that are living in people's homes at the moment!
The whole school went over to the church in the afternoon for a special Christingle service.
Today some of us in Yew Class got to work with some residents from Oak Meadows Care Home. First, we all introduced ourselves, and then we decided what we would make for their Christmas fair. We chose to decorate bags and logs to go on the Christmas tree. While we worked, we chatted about our hobbies, and their lives, in particular choirs and the church, which they thought was lovely. We all had a lovely morning.
