This week we started reading the story of Stickman. We collected sticks and made our own Stickman!
Art
In history, we talked about how different vehicles have changed over time. We looked at different transport and the journeys they make. Lots of children talked about the vehicles their parents drive when they are at work e.g. Tractors/ambulances/vans/cars and buses.
In science, we have started to look at moving vehicles. How do you think a wheel works? Why does the car go far sometimes, but not other times? How can you make the car go faster or slower?
In forest school we created our own natural pictures.
In RE we talked about the Angels, and the importance of their role in the Nativity story.
Have you got your bus ticket?
Junk modelling
Some of us made word books for Grandma Fantastic! She loved them!
We have been practising our segmenting when writing and blending when reading. This week we learnt lots of new digraphs!
Post some work you are proud of. Remember to write your name on it!
