Science

Our Science this half term is about Evolution and Inheritance.  We will look at the theory of evolution as proposed by Charles Darwin (and a few others who had similar ideas but are not so famous!) and see how adapting to an environment has led to changes in species over time.

Below is a Knowledge Organiser that contains some of the facts that we will be looking at.

There is also a quiz we will be using in class - so you can have a practise if you wish!

 

If you want to read a great book (sort of about this topic) check out Darwin's Dragons by Lindsay Galvin - exciting story and Charles Darwin is in it!

There are also some great episodes of Horrible Histories that feature Darwin and other aspects of evolution.
