Book Week English Activities for this week
Book Week Activities
For this week, we have given you a 'menu' to choose from. There are a number of different activities - all related to books and reading. Please chose any activities that appeal to you. You need to do at least one English activity a day, but please feel free to do more if you wish!
If you have signed up to any online book events, then these also count towards your English for the day, so please only do extra if these events are really short or you wish to!
As ever, please send any work or photos to the Willow class email address.
Class Library
By clicking the document below, you should find access to a class library. It is filled with extracts of authors reading from their books. You never know, you might find a new favourite!
Broadcasts by Authors
As part of our Book Week celebrations, we have joined with an organisation which has arranged some live broadcasts with authors. The sessions will be broadcast on You Tube and the links are below. We would especially recommend the Michael Rosen one as he is such a supporter of children's writing in schools. Watching any of the broadcasts this week counts as your English learning for the day - go for it! Get inspired! Who knows where it might lead you.
