Maths

Please visit White Rose Maths Hub and look at their home learning. 

 

This week we are looking at the section called 'Week 1' at the very top of the list of pink blocks. If you click on that pink block, it should open up five lessons below (see image below). Each day, there is a short video lesson and an activity to go with this - please watch the video it will help you learn the skill and complete the activity. The answers are on the same page as well so your parents can help you check you are doing it correctly.  

 

Monday - Lesson 1 - decimals up to 2dp

Tuesday - Lesson 2 - decimals as fractions (1)

Wednesday - Lesson 3 - decimals as fractions (2) 

Thursday - Lesson 4 - understand thousandths 

Friday - Lesson 5 - thousandths as decimals 

 

We have also added a May Maths Challenge to our page - an optional maths question per day for the whole of May. If you haven't already spotted it, please click here.
