There will be some maths activities set on My Maths - please let us know if you need a reminder of your login details. There are 6 homeworks set for you to have a go at around multiplication and division, our current topic in class.
We will be publishing our stories this week - writing them up and illustrating them using the book template below, so that we can enjoy them on Christmas Eve. Or if your computer skills are good maybe you could type up your version adding pictures. If you would like a copy of your story to write up, please email us and we will scan your English book in. Otherwise, you might like to have a go at writing another Christmassy story, similar story to Star in a Jar.
This week, we have been reading and enjoying the poem 'Twas the Night Before Christmas. Have a read through and a go at the questions below:

What did the children dream about?
What were the names of the reindeer?
What was the sleigh full of?
How white was St Nicholas’ beard?
Can you find an example of a simile in the poem?
Weds - (I)
Why was everything silent in the house?
Why were the stockings hung by the chimney?
Thurs - (E)
Why were St Nick's clothes all tarnished with ashes and soot?
Why do you think the author described Santa's tummy "like a bowlful of jelly"?
