Cross Country Results

Back to the relay events in the cross country on the 29th February. Two teams represented Trull with a couple of new faces to cross country. There was a fantastic result for both teams finishing 15th and 46th respectively. Excellent work from everyone. Well done.

Monday 25th January saw the second in our set of Cross Country races at Kings Hall. The 1.4km was in better shape than last time but still had very slippery and muddy sections.

We had 6 different people competing in the race again showing a fantastic culture is developing. With again some fabulous results all showing well in a field of 329.

Name  Position  Time
Lucas 47th 7 minutes 39 seconds
Louis 71st 7 minutes 58 seconds
Joe 106th 8 minutes 25 seconds
Megan 184th 9 minutes 23 seconds
Sophie 190th 9 minutes 25 seconds
Ella 191st 9 minutes 26 seconds

On Monday 30 November, 6 of our runners competed in the Cross Country at Kings Hall. The 1.4km course was tricky particularly in the conditions, with the rain and wind creating some very muddy spots.

The results however were fantastic with all 6 finishing in the top third of the 322 people that took part. Well done to them all and the results are below.

Name  Position  Time
Dan 27th 8:17
Will 49th 8:42
George 61th 8:58
JT 89th 9:20
Maggie 97th 9:25
Oscar 107th 9:33

If anyone is interested in taking up running on a regular basis try Park Run on a Sunday morning. A beautiful 2km course behind Castle School.

Fantastic results from the our Cross Country runners on Monday 28th September. Performing amazingly in the 3x900m relay. They had to come through some stiff competition to even make it to the event with a tough trial taking place at school last week. It is the first time the school has competed in the event and the two teams finished 6th and 16th respectively out of a field of 74! What a result.
