Congratulations to Cotlake on winning, but well done to all the teams it was a very competitive tournament this year.
The annual Trull Primary School House Football Competition kicked off on the 28th September 2015 with two very competitive matches.
First up was Cotlake vs Gatchell, which finished 3-2 to Cotlake.
House Captains Report
The tension began as soon as the whistle blew and the competition started not only find out who would win house football but which house captains had made the right choices. We were against Gatchell. Gatchell had the advantage of shooting downhill and shortly scored a goal which swiftly turned into two. But after what was probably 30 seconds, when it felt like much longer, it was half time and we were 2-0 down but the team switched ends. Now we had the advantage and gave Gatchell a surprise. 2 swift goals followed and with the game drawing to a close the drama was building. Then we snatched a the goal that won, George with the strike. What a goal. We hope our performances continue... (Emily Ward, Cotlake House Captain)
With the second match being Eastbrook vs Kibbear, which resulted in a tight 1-0 victory for the team in red. House Captains report
We had a very competitive game against a good Kibbear team. At half time we were one will up and looking forward to the second half hoping to add to our goals. However the game was not over and Kibbear continued to play well. There was lots of tackling and the pressure was on. In the end the overall score finished 1-0 to Eastbrook. We hope that this continues into our remaining games. (Esme Fish, Eastbrook House Captain)
