LQ: Can I make patterns using 3-D and 2-D shapes?

Today, we are going to use 3-D and 2-D shapes to complete and make simple patterns focusing on different shapes, sizes and colours. Try to say the pattern out loud as this will help you to remember the names of the shapes.

Today we are continuing with our grouping work. 

 

When using division, can you recognise a link between division, multiplication and repeated addition?

Practise spelling: water, where, who

 

 Practise/ Apply: 

Match words with the common grapheme. 

 

like, fried, fry, night, might, sky, cried, bike, trike, denied, my, fight, nice, by, spied, sight

 

Read and write the sentences on  Phase 5C Phonics Play.

 

Year 2 

 

Recap on words with le, il, al and le endings. Create a wordsearch using some of this week's words. Look for words with these endings in your own reading books and add them to your lists.
